  • The role is a trainee Project Management position to support the Senior Project Manager to ensure that all new projects are formally initiated into the organisation according to the formal introduction procedure.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all assigned projects are executed on time and in line with client expectations with the guidance and support of Senior Project Manager.
  • Responsible for ensuring that order book is up to date, accurate forecasting and reporting of the financial performance of project accounts with the guidance and support of Senior Project Manager.
  • Changes in scope of project work are identified and captured by the generation of change orders with the guidance and support of Senior Project Manager.
  • To spend time in client facing activities to include attendance at client meetings, presentations, teleconferences, email correspondence, entertainment functions and visits in order to establish and grow client relationships.
  • The job holder will be trained and developed to provide regular feedback and updates on project performance vs client milestones.
  • Responsible for following and maintaining the formal project initiation process ensuring that project reviews are conducted and outputs are tracked and reported
  • Responsible for ensuring all project plans are accurate and maintained and milestone delivery to clients are monitored and tracked, reporting regularly to the senior project Manager
  • Ensure regular and proactive effective feedback is provided to both Clients and internal team members
  • To ensure there is a high level of communication and effective working relationships between Project Management and other key stakeholder departments across the business.
  • To coordinate and host on site Client visits, off site meetings, audits and teleconferences.
  • To comply with company policies including internal and external Health and Safety, Environmental standards and the safe handling of potent formulations down to OEL’s of 0.01µ/m3.
  • To undertake such tasks and to manage specific internal or ad hoc projects as and when required to meet department and business needs and within the scope of the job-holder’s capabilities and responsibilities
  • To identify self-development needs with Senior Project Manager for future performance and development in the Project Management role.
Must Have:
  • Project Management background OR Pharma/Scientific background
Desirable:
  • Experience working with clients
  • Experience with Microsoft Project for plan generation
  • Project Management qualifications
