Job description
We are recruiting for Senior Neonatal Nurses, to join our level 3 unit.

The Neonatal nurse will be expected to perform all aspects of Neonatal care within the neonatal setting & to assist in the planning implementation and delivery of care and accept delegated responsibility from senior staff.
  • Care of the sick and preterm newborns
  • Plan and implement care and be able to manage own workload
  • To attend relevant clinical and unit meetings, as appropriate
  • To be aware of the Trust’s discipline and grievance procedures
  • To ensure economical use of ward stocks and inform senior staff of any shortages
  • To be responsible for the proper use and maintenance of all equipment
  • To monitor and adhere to the Duchess of Westminster Wing Security Policy

If successful in this role, there is a requirement for you to have an enhanced DBS. This will be paid for by the Trust and then deducted from your salary over a period of 3 months.

As this vacancy is within the division of Women’s and Children’s, there is a mandatory requirement for successful applicants to join the DBS update service. The cost of joining the update service is £13 per year, and applicants are liable to cover this cost with no reimbursement from the Trust. Further details of how to join the update service will be provided upon appointment.
