We are now in a growth phase, recruiting across various teams for our UK part of the business. The type of vacancies we recruit is broad, so you will need to be able to effectively switch between different roles’ contexts and work with a high volume of applicants, adhering to recruitment SLAs.
About the role
Reporting to the HR Business Partner (HRBP), the Recruitment Assistant will focus on supporting the day-to-day administration of the DA’s internal recruitment process, ensuring it is managed in a timely and efficient manner, meeting the business SLAs.
Typically, you will work a minimum of 3 days in the office, but this will largely depend on the scheduling of the face-to-face interviews.
We place a high value on delivering an exceptional candidate experience. While the screening part of the process can take place using Microsoft Teams, we hold the face-to-face interviews in our London (Holborn) office. It is therefore imperative that you are flexible and can accommodate working in the office as and when required / on short notice, to coordinate the interviews and deliver a first-class candidate experience.
You will also need to develop a good understanding of the DA culture and regularly liaise with the key stakeholders to establish accurate recruitment needs and the progress of candidates through the recruitment process.
Responsibilities
- Assist with advertising of open vacancies
- Manage applications via the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure SLA targets are met
- Screen and shortlist applications
- Liaise with the candidates between interview stages, to schedule the interviews. Ensure candidates are kept up to date on the progress of their application.
- Perform screening interviews
- Coordinate the face-to-face interviews held in the office (ensure documentation is prepared for managers, meeting rooms are booked and prepared for the interview, meet and greet the candidates, etc.)
- Accurately process applications ensuring data integrity
- Generate reports (using ATS) and use these in recruitment stand-ups to effectively assess progress and agree on actions with the hiring managers
- Assist with the sourcing/headhunting of the passive candidates, enhancing the candidate’s pool (using the LinkedIn Recruiter tool)
- Coordinate with recruitment agencies to ensure candidates' applications are managed in a timely fashion (schedule interviews, provide feedback post-interview, guide agents to ensure the recruitment process is adhered to)
- Liaise with direct candidates (ensure they always receive an update on the progress of their application)
- Assist with the new hires onboarding process
Skills and experience
- Recent experience of working in a recruitment function, recruiting both, active and passive candidates
- A good understanding of the key areas of law affecting recruitment and selection process
- Experience of administering the recruitment process
- Experience of working with an applicant tracking system
- Experience of coordinating a high volume of vacancies
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Very good spoken and accurate written English
