SAT is a Leeds based tutoring agency that specialises in home education and SEN provision for primary and secondary education. Over the past 4 years since we opened, we have helped students as far as Indonesia work towards their exams with excellent results! Many of our clients are home educated or have SENs so we work alongside health care professionals and schools to successfully support and reintegrate students. Alongside this, SAT tutors prepare students for exams such as their GCSEs and A-Levels via 1-to-1 tuition online, or in-home.

The role:
We are looking for a Primary level tutor to support a young girl with her English and Maths curriculum learning. This tutor should have experience with supporting the transition from KS2 to KS3, and therefore will need to facilitate Year 7 and 8 learning as well as Primary. The young person requires face-to-face provision at her home, on an entirely flexible schedule. Due to the young person's mitochondrial disease, the tutor should patient, professional and gentle with the student. The tutorials will take place during the day, and last a maximum of 1 hour.
£33/hour face-to-face in Halifax (HX1)
Requirements:
- Must be enthusiastic and passionate in all tutorials
- Must be punctual and well organised
- Must have experience of following a national curriculum
- Enjoy inspiring students and seeing progress in their results
- DBS checked
- A BSc/BA minimum in your chosen teaching subject
- At least 3 years tutoring experience
- Must currently hold QTS
- Must have safeguarding training at Level 1 minimum
- MUST have experience tutoring children with medical based needs

Salary: £30.00-£35.00 per hour
