The Role
As the Treasury / Financial Accountant, you will be reporting directly to the Finance Director and be responsible for cash management and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial information.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with SMEs and the confidence to have open conversations with all levels of stakeholders, both internal and external.
This is a full time, permanent position, office based in Liverpool City Centre
Role and Responsibilities
- Review cash position and report to Finance Director and Board Members
- Managing bank reconciliation for all UK and Irish accounts including PDQ receipts
- Responsible for posting cash journals and cheque books
- Processing and review of all expense invoices
- Control bank transfers both UK and foreign
- Responsible for collating and paying all Charitable donations
- Responsible for posting the daily bank figure for the directors
- Processing and setting up all electronic transfers
- Managing the production of prepayment adjustments / Accounts Accruals
- Fixed Assets
- Supporting year end audit
To be considered you will have
- Extensive experience with the transactional processes of cash and banking
- Confidence to communicate and build relationships with stakeholders of both senior and junior levels
- Experience working within SME environment
- Diligence and take pride in the work you complete
- Practical experience with ERP systems such as SAP, ORACLE, SAGE 100 (or equivalent)
Interview Process:
This will be a 2 stage interview process, onsite and face to face with the hiring manager
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
