MET Technician required for Bodyshop near the Newcastle area

• Basic salary up to circa £31,000 (depending on experience / more for the right candidate) + uncapped bonus
• Monday to Friday, 40-hour week (Flexible working).

Our client, a large Bodyshop in the Newcastle area is seeking an experienced MET Technician to join their busy team.

Requirements and Responsibilities as an MET Technician:

• Ideally you will be working as a MET Technician currently within a bodyshop but it is essential that you have strong mechanical knowledge. The client is open to qualification status held.
• Overall you will be able to work under pressure and to strict deadline
• Carry out duties as detailed on job cards to manufacturer and company standards
• Use initiative and have the ability to prioritise workload to meet delivery times and customers’ expectations
• Be able to work independently but liaise effectively with colleagues and support others by multi-tasking during busy periods.

The successful MET Technician will be rewarded with:

• A competitive basic salary which is complimented with an uncapped bonus scheme to boost your earnings. Realistic OTE is around £36k but the bonus is uncapped so your OTE can be increased greatly based off your own merits.
• Packages available to suit skill level
• Flexible working available - Monday to Friday (Saturdays are only as per the needs of the business and paid at overtime)
