Job description

Van Technician in Bristol.

• Starting salary is negotiable pending experience and current earnings
• 45 hours per week; Monday to Friday!
• £1000 of loyalty bonus to be paid after 1 year of employment!

Our client, a multi-site franchise approved vehicle dealership, are currently looking to recruit an additional Van Technician for their dealership in Bristol.

Reporting to the Aftersales Manager and working as part of a workshop team in a state-of-the-art facility, your key responsibilities as a Van Technician will include:

• Carrying out servicing and general repairs, stripping, fitting and replacing components on Vans.
• Identifying faulty components and ensure underlying problems are resolved.
• Ensuring all consumables and parts ordered are logged against job cards.
• Carrying out Van Health Checks and basic diagnostics.

In order to be eligible you will need to be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair as a minimum and have a UK driving license with minimal points. Overall you will be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team.

An active MOT license and extensive experience of Van diagnosis/electronics would be highly advantageous however is non-essential.
