The role:
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Executive with a passion for all things social and digital to join our growing marketing team. Reporting to the B2C Marketing Manager, this role will play a vital part in the planning and execution of our brand and marketing campaigns for the student market. A key role will also be help manage and grow our ambassador programme, working alongside your manager to plan, communicate and approve content produced. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Apprentice (and any interns) to enable them to effectively manage their workload and responsibilities.
You will report to the B2C Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute ideas to marketing campaigns
- Conduct research and analyse data to identify new areas of opportunities across the marketing mix
- Compile, distribute and present ideas, information, and strategies
- Manage production, growth, and performance across all our social media platforms
- Continuously improving and maintaining the blogs area of the website and ensuring relevant information is promoted at key time periods throughout the year
- Take a leading role in managing the companies Brand Ambassador program
- Take ownership in ensuring our key messages are being promoted at the most relevant times of the year (e.g., Peak Letting Season, Focus on Bills, Focus on Housing etc)
- Actively network across key regional cities to promote the business at student-focused events
Skills and experience:
- Must have at least 4 years’ experience being a Marketing Executive (or equivalent role)
- Creativity, writing and design skills
- Commercial awareness
- Adaptability and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the skills to meticulously implement feedback
- Disciplined time management
- Teamworking skills
- Experience working within a marketing team and/or capacity
- Experience of working within a student market
- Experience of using Adobe design platforms and editing software (and/or Canva)
- Experience working with influencers and assisting with on the ground campaigns
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000
