£10.70 per hour Birmingham, West Midlands Part-TimeCreative Support is a national, fast growing not-for-profit organisation providing support to individuals with a wide range of care needs. We are currently looking to add a Female Support Worker to our team in Birmingham, West Midlands.
We are looking for a flexible, compassionate and motivated Female Support Worker to join our team in Birmingham, near Harborne. This service is a three bedroom bungalow supporting 2 individuals with learning disabilities. They all have their own bedroom with shared communal areas. Our service users are really outgoing and always like to be doing something, whether it’s enjoy completing jigsaws, baking cakes, pamper days and cupcakes, watching soaps and many more activities!
Support Worker Duties:
– Provide personal care and support with domestic tasks e.g. cooking, cleaning etc
– Enable service users to enjoy a fulfilling and valued life, to participate in the community and to develop their abilities as fully as possible
– Enable service users to gain independence, confidence and competence in areas such as: daily living, managing money, social skills/relationships and many more
– Collaborate with families of service users and involved professionals to provide a consistent service to meet individual needs
– Be willing to work flexibly according to the needs of the service, which may include daytimes, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
Experience is desirable but not essential for this role, as full ongoing training will be provided.
