Job description
The Corporate Responsibility (CR) Associate will work with the RELX CR team to help maximise the positive impact of our business on society. It is an excellent opportunity to gain CR experience in a well-regarded multinational business. The candidate will benefit from broad exposure to key parts of our global company and help us meet our CR objectives. The position is central to the team and encompasses research and reporting, employee engagement and communications, project management and administrative support. The successful candidate will assist with core CR team activities related to ESG while providing support to the global head of corporate responsibility. They will work with the CR team to maintain and develop the RELX SDG Resource Centre . Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the global head of CR on special projects and on routine administration tasks
  • Assisting in the collection and management of extra-financial performance data from across the entire global business
  • Assisting with RELX Cares (employee community engagement) activities, including the flagship RELX Cares month , communications, attending and minuting monthly meetings of the RELX Cares Champions network, helping organise volunteer opportunities and fundraising events
  • Supporting the development of CR communications including the CR sections of our internet and intranet
  • Plan and manage the global employee fitness competition, Fit2Win
  • Helping develop CR-related materials, such as case studies, articles, and videos including editing podcasts and video
  • Helping facilitate meetings for various CR working groups, including diary management and taking minutes
  • Supporting the preparation of the annual Corporate Responsibility Report
  • Assisting with CR events such as the RELX SDG Inspiration Day, including liaising with speakers, attendees, catering requirements, presentation slides, etc.
  • Producing content and updates for the RELX SDG Resource Centre
  • Assisting in marketing efforts for the SDG Resource Centre, including by drafting articles, using social media and producing a monthly newsletter
  • Ad hoc project support
  • Manage new vendor set up and invoice sign offs
  • Research for competitor practices/ commitments and for investor benchmarks etc.
  • Assist with the creation of SDG Graphics (data, design, publishing)
