About the Trust
George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust provides hospital and community-based services to around 350,000 people in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, and Coventry.
The Trust offers a range of services including surgical, emergency, maternity, paediatrics, diagnostic and therapeutic services. The main hub of the Trust is in Nuneaton, providing access to an onsite discounted gym, subsidised restaurant, tranquillity garden and generous subsidised onsite parking.
What you’ll be responsible for
· 1 Provide a quality nursing service that meets the needs of the residents and fulfils regulatory and organisational requirements
· 2 Monitor and maintain high standards of clinical care to meet legislation and organisational standards and reflect best practice
· 3 Ensure risk assessments are completed to ensure services meet the needs of residents
· 4 Prepare and monitor residents’ care plans and supervise the delivery of all aspects of care
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
You’ll have the following qualification/experience:
· A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute hospital environment within the last 3 years
· Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
· Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines
· Undertake regular mandatory training*
*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
