About this role
The purpose of this role is to recruit and onboard learners onto our Working with Children Academy programme.
Recruitment will be through our various recruitment channels including;
working with our network of early years and school employers
outreach (attending job fares, schools’ careers events, job centres)
working with referral agencies
You will then onboard learners onto either the Early Years Academy or the Teaching Assistant Academy course, providing the necessary information and support to both the learners and the programme delivery team.
You will be based in our Nottingham office

Key Duties
Specific recruitment and onboarding duties:
Work with other team members to ensure learner recruitment, retention, completion and progression targets are met
Inducting recruited learners onto our academy programmes aimed at both schools and early years settings
Sourcing and vetting suitable placements for learners
Observing learners practice in the workplace to assess
Providing pastoral support to learners
Create learner profiles for assessors/tutors
Prepare learners for progression onto an Orange Moon Apprenticeship or further education training programme
Signpost learners to alternation apprenticeships or training outside childcare or education where appropriate.
General administrative and customer service duties:
Taking telephone enquiries, screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
Minute internal team meetings
Liaising with other professionals in the office to ensure team tasks are completed

Minimum Requirements
At least 1 year’s experience within in a busy administration environment
Good verbal and written communication skills
Positive, professional and welcoming telephone manner
Minimum 5 O-Level/GCSEs, or equivalent, must include Maths and English (A-C)
Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications especially Excel
Attention to detail
Experience working in a nursery, as a childminder or in a school.
