Ecolab is seeking a Field Sales Manager in our Food & Beverage Division - Remote Position UK - the South region of the UK

Are you an experienced field sales and service professional in a business to business environment? Would you like to work for a global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services that protect people and vital resources? Do you have experience in managing and developing remote teams?

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Manager to join Ecolab’s F&B Division. The successful Sales Manager will provide leadership to their team of Territory Managers to achieve company objectives, exceed customer expectations, give service to specification on time, meet ECOLAB standards of service, meet health and safety and quality standards and exceed financial plans.

What will you do?

  • Set team objectives and monitor their progress.
  • Communicate and work with other members of the company to achieve the objectives.
  • Accompany and assess staff in the field periodically to ensure objectives are met and to identify training needs. The frequency of these field days is to be agreed with your line manager.
  • Recognise and reward good individual and team performance.
  • Observe the company rules for grievance and disciplinary matters.
  • Hold regular meetings to brief your sales team and promote teamwork.
  • Deal effectively and speedily with customer complaints and account issues.
  • Actively assist the sales team, giving technical support and encouraging technicians to identify and submit leads.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in managing. motivating and developing remote sales and technical teams
  • Strong planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Focused on delivering targets and objectives
  • P&L experience
  • Proactive, analytical, logical and disciplined approach to problem solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to converse at all levels
