Lead Java Software Engineer (VP Level)
A Lead Software engineer (VP Level) is needed to lead the development of a finanical services client's largest trading platform to date on a completely greenfield project.
As a minimum you will just need experience with Java, Kafka, SQL - the client have only just selected AWS and are at the start of their cloud services journey, so a nice to have but not crucial.
It is a 3 stage interview process: 30 min initial chat / coding task /1 hr technical chat (reviewing task) - and then offer!
Within your first couple of months, you will be expected to be settled into the engineering team as well as understand the business, their domain and project goals; allowing you to be part of decision making, as well as writing code to improve and add new features from their product roadmap.
The team work a hybrid 2 days a week model in their central London office - the 2 days you work are totally up to you!
